IBRL Short Course on Fermentation Offered to Industry Practitioners
In today's rapidly growing fermentation industry, companies need employees who are trained to manage equipment and technical processes. It's for this reason that the Integrated Bioprocessing Research Laboratory (IBRL) at the University of Illinois recently developed a short course aimed at industry practitioners covering fermentation.
A total of 25 participants from 10 companies attended the three-day course.
Faculty specialists from the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences and The Grainger College of Engineering presented alongside IBRL staff. The course covered topics such as fermentation types, process modeling, and scaling up considerations. Read More Here
